Cat Reman alternators such as part # 0R-8332 are designed to energize the battery to power your machine. There are two types: Brush-Type Design uses one-piece brushes for less maintenance, with constant-pressure springs for even brush wear; and our Brushless Design has fewer moving parts, tighter air gap tolerances, and quality sealing for longer life in harsh environments (dirt, dust, heat or cold) compared with Brush-Type. Electronic voltage regulators and a high-efficiency cooling system are built in.
