Description: Connecting rods transfer mechanical energy from the piston to the crankshaft. Cat Reman connecting rods such as 0R-9200 are designed to work and wear as a system with your Cat engine. They’re made of quality materials and heat treated to be tough, durable, and reliable, even at low idle. Returning cores are cleaned, magnetic particle checked for material defects, and inspected. All rod bushings are replaced with new, then load tested to ensure bushing retention. Rods are finish processed to original Cat design specs. Crank bores to be resized undergo a proprietary process that improves the rod-to-cap connection and bolt hole alignment, for like new performance.
