Description: Cat brake lining assemblies (also called brake disc pads) are the key components that slow, stop or hold a machine stationary. On Caterpillar machines, they are located at the wheels of wheel-type machines. In track-type machines, they are located on the axle shafts. Attributes: • Assists in braking, steering and maneuvering • Inboard position Application: Cat brake lining assemblies are used in braking system for safe controlling of Cat machines speeds, typically on wheeled machines.
