123-0542: Irregular Gasket

An Irregular Gasket is a seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak free seal between mating parts. Attributes: • Provided with 6 mounting holes of diameter 6.5mm and a slot. • Manufactured to withstand high pressure and temperatures. • Steel and rubber are used for the secure sealing. Applications: Irregular Gaskets are used in Valves, these are anti-vibration, packaging, noise and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use of sealing.
