Description: The Top Piston Ring is also known as the first ring. During the combustion process, the top ring forms a seal between the piston and cylinder wall, preventing the escape of gases and ensuring optimal engine performance. It is positioned closest to the combustion chamber. Attributes: • Has high strength and wear resistance • Reduce friction between the piston and the cylinder wall Applications: The Top Piston Ring is used to seal the combustion chamber and maintain compression within the cylinder.
