The Oil Pump Body is responsible for creating the pressure needed to circulate oil throughout the engine. The oil pump body must be strong enough to withstand the forces generated by the gears or rotors, and it must also be able to maintain a good seal to prevent oil leaks. The oil pump body helps to dissipate heat from the oil pump. This is to prevent the oil pump from overheating and failing.
