The Pressure Relief Valve is a part of the hoist control unit, which is responsible for controlling the lifting and lowering of loads. The function of the valve in the hoist control unit is to limit the maximum pressure within the hydraulic unit. When the pressure in the hydraulic unit exceeds the set limit, the relief valve opens, allowing the excess fluid to bypass and return to the reservoir, thus relieving the pressure.
