The Shim Pack consists of 24 shims that help to adjust gaps, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces or parts. Shims are employed to fine-tune the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances. Attributes: • Provide stability and prevent tilting or rocking • Distribute loads evenly between mating surfaces, avoiding localized stress concentrations • Provide 13 mounting holes of diameter 14mm Applications: The Shim Pack is used in the parts of the Output Transfer Gear placed between the Shaft and the Cone Bearing to provide support to achieve the desired fit and is used individually or stacked to achieve the required thickness or alignment.
