The fan drive pulley adapter is normally positioned on the crankshaft of the engine and offers a mechanism to secure and drive a pulley, which in turn drives a belt that turns the fan. The use of a fan drive pulley adapter allows the fan to be operated indirectly by the engine rather than directly by a mechanical or electric fan drive. Attributes: • Manufactured with gray iron casting which has a high tensile strength and can handle high loads and stresses, making it an ideal material for the pulley adapter, which is responsible for transmitting power from the engine to the fan. • Provided with 8 flange holes of size 8.7mm of M10x1.5 to 6 flange holes of size 13.8mm for mounting. Applications: The fan drive pulley adapter is used to connect the crankshaft to the drive pulley.
