A Strainer is designed to filter out solid particles and debris from the fuel before it enters the pump. It prevents contaminants from entering the pump, which can cause damage to the pump and other parts. The strainer consists of a mesh or perforated screen made of materials steel. This screen is placed in the fuel line, near the inlet of the pump, and acts as a barrier to trap larger particles and prevent them from entering the pump.
