Description: A Heat Exchanger End Plate Gasket is a gasket that covers the gap between two or more mating surfaces and is often used to prevent leakage from or into the connected components when under compression. Gaskets are normally made from a flat material, a sheet such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (otherwise known as PTFE or Teflon) or a plastic polymer (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene). Attributes: • Provided with 4 holes of size 85mm • Manufactured from nitrile butadiene rubber which provides good abrasion resistance and fluid resistance. • Provided with a Durometer Shore A scale hardness of 75-83 Applications: A Heat Exchanger End Plate Gasket is used to fill the gap between the Heat Exchanger End Plates to prevent leaks, also used on applications where anti-vibration, packaging, noise, and sound reduction are required. Widely used in Cat C18 Generator Set, C18 Marine Engine, C18 Petroleum Package, and C32 Marine Auxiliary.
