A U-cup seal, also known as a U-ring seal, is a sealing device used in hydraulic cylinders. It is designed to provide effective sealing and prevent fluid leakage. It consists of a lip that is shaped like a U, with the open side of the U facing outward. This lip is responsible for creating the primary sealing action against the cylinder bore in the hydraulic cylinder.
