Description: A Piston Guide also known as a piston ring is a component used in internal combustion engines to guide the piston and help maintain its proper alignment within the cylinder bore. It is located at the upper end of the piston, just below the piston crown. Attributes: • It helps in controlling the lateral movement of the piston. • Prevents it from contacting the cylinder wall directly. • Operate in a high-temperature environment within the engine. Applications: A Piston Guide is used in automobile engines they provide sealing between the piston and the cylinder wall, ensuring efficient combustion, compression, and power delivery, and is mainly used in Cat 302.5 and 302.5C Excavators, 416E, 420D, 420E, 422E, 428E, 430D, 430E, 432E and 434E Backhoe, 908, 908H, 908K, 908M, and 966 Wheel Loaders.
