The Light Cell Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak-free seal between mating parts. Attributes: • Very low oxidation rate, which makes this synthetic elastomer suitable for various conditions • Greater resistance to heat and chemicals Applications: The Light Cell Gasket is used to create space for holding the Warning indicators in the Instrument panel and also provides a tight seal to protect from water and other contaminants.
