A wiper seal is used to prevent the ingress of contaminants such as dirt, dust, moisture, and debris into the cylinder. It is located on the external side of the stabilizer cylinder, near the rod or piston. Its primary function is to wipe or scrape away any foreign particles that may accumulate on the rod surface during the cylinder's extension and retraction movements.
