Description: The Kit Parking Brake Caliper is used to squeeze the brake pads against the rotating brake disc in the parking brake assembly of the rear axle drive unit. When hydraulic pressure is applied to the brake system, the pistons within the caliper push the brake pads against the brake disc. This action creates friction, converting the kinetic energy of the rotating disc into thermal energy, resulting in the deceleration of the wheel.
