The Power Actuator is a mechanical device that converts the rotational motion of the motor into the linear motion of the hood. The locknut secures the motor assembly to the powerhead assembly. The motor assembly provides the power to move the actuator. The rod end connects the motor assembly to the post assembly. The powerhead assembly houses the motor assembly and the rod end. The post assembly supports the weight of the actuator and provides a mounting point for the rod end. The gasket seals the actuator to prevent leaks. The mount assembly secures the actuator to the machine. The washer hard provides additional strength to the mounting assembly. The bolt-hex head secures the mounting assembly to the machine.
