264-0010: Spring Retainer

Description: A Spring Retainer is a component used to secure the spring in place. It is a small metal piece that sits on top of the Spring and holds the spring with the actuator in the Piston Pump assembly. The Retainer is designed to keep the spring in place, preventing it from moving around and causing damage to the pump. It is machined to fit precisely in the actuator. Attributes: • Provided with a flange of diameter 47.7mm to lock the spring. • Manufactured from steel which provides high strength and wear resistance. • Hardened to Rockwell C scale hardness of 45-50 HRC to increase the toughness and impact strength. Applications: A Spring Retainer is used to secure the spring in the actuator of the Piston Pump, mostly used in CAT 834H Wheel Dozer, 994H, 992K, 993K, 988H, 988K, 988K Xe, 990K, 993, 994K, 988G Wheel Loader.
