269-8394: 2 Piece Isolation Mount Assembly (isolator)

Description: Two-piece isolation mount assemblies, like part 269-8394, are used to attach and position system components, accommodate displacement, and isolate components from the surrounding structure (vibration, shock, noise). Two-Piece Mounts are extremely versatile and are available in symmetrical (two mounts) and non-symmetrical (mount plus pad) designs. They are installed into a bore on a support plate, and are bolted through a center sleeve, which may be bonded or loose. Two-Piece Mounts are finely tuned to the specific application through rubber composition and design geometry. The mounts are typically precompressed to offer long service life Cat Mounting Systems are designed to reduce stress and strain on mounted components to increase their durability and performance life, and to contribute to operator comfort. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, hardware, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements.
