277-0409: Involute Spline Coupling

The Involute Spline Coupling are mechanical component used to connect and transmit torque between two rotating shafts. A spline coupling consists of a shaft with external teeth and a hub with internal teeth and the load is transferred from the shaft to the hub (or vice-versa) using several engaging teeth. This coupling has two involute splines i.e. internal and external. Attributes: • Withstands temperature up to 565°c and wear resistance • Hardened with Rockwell Hardness Scale value in the range of 15N - 85 minimum, which indicates its resistance against deformation Applications: The Involute Spline Couplings are used in transmission planetary units to provide a continuous transfer of power or energy.
