279-0480: Steering Gear Pump

The Gear Pump is designed to generate hydraulic pressure for power steering applications. The Primary section draws hydraulic fluid from the reservoir and supplies it to the steering system with the required hydraulic pressure. The Secondary section regulates the flow of hydraulic fluid returning from the power steering system back to the reservoir. Attributes: • Maintains 25.4cc per revolution of displacement in both sections and rotates in a clockwise direction • Designed with an inlet diameter of 38.1mm • Housing of the Pump is manufactured using Ductile Iron Applications: The Gear Pump ensures stable flow and pressure for controlling the steering unit.
