A Fan Drive is used in the engine's cooling unit that helps to regulate the temperature of the engine by driving the Cooling fan. The primary part is the crankshaft pulley, which is connected directly to the engine's crankshaft. As the crankshaft rotates, it transfers power to the pulley. Provided with space for the Serpentine Belt that is responsible for transferring the Power from the Crankshaft Pulley to other drive components associated with the engine.
