Description: Track adjust and mechanical recoil systems, such as 297-9143, use a large recoil spring and a greased filled adjustment cylinder which allows the idler to move forward and back to maintain proper track tension as it absorbs undercarriage shock loads. Used in undercarriage system of certain Excavator models.
