2L-3565: 1/32'' Thick Water Pump Gasket

The Water Pump Gasket is designed to be used in the engine's cooling unit to ensure the proper functioning of the Water Pump. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak-free seal between mating parts. It creates a seal between the Water Pump side cover and the engine block. This seal prevents coolant from leaking out of the Water Pump and ensures it flows into the engine's cooling passage. Attributes: • Provided with 8 holes of diameter 0.531 Inch to fit fastener of size M8 • Equally spaced punch holes provide an even distribution of pressure Applications: The Water Pump Gasket is used to ensure that the coolant remains contained within the water pump and also to prevent engine overheating.
