Description: Part 308-1883 is designed to replace Chevron Packing which Caterpillar no longer uses. These assemblies combine U-Cup Rod Seals with spacers to fill the original Chevron Packing grooves. Both U-Cup Seal Assemblies and Chevron Packing meet the same functional sealing specifications. Attributes: • Material: Plastic and Rubber • Seal Type: Integrated Bur • Thickness: 9 mm (0.35 in) • Grove Width: 10 mm ( 0.394 in) • Grove Diameter: 54.03 mm ( 2.127 in) Application: Consult your owner’s manual or contact your local Cat dealer for more information.
