Description: Cat accumulators like 310-8461 are used in mining and construction equipment. They store and release pressure as needed to stabilize machine-specific hydraulic systems, allowing the use of less powerful pumps. Oil-with-nitrogen accumulators are used in the Ride Control system to absorb shock and reduce machine bounce when traveling.
