Product Description

Description: A wiper seal is used in hydraulic cylinders to prevent external contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. Attributes: The wiper seal cleans the hydraulic rod as it retracts and seals oil, eliminating weeping, or cosmetic leakage. This style of wiper seal is secured in place with a bearing mount, and contain a metal case for added strength. Recommended Application: This type of wiper seal is installed in the head of a hydraulic cylinder. The metal cased or "canned" wiper seal is pressed into the head.
