A Split Sleeve Bearing sometimes called bushings, journal bearings, or plain bearings facilitates motion between two components. They are appropriate for a variety of heavy-duty applications because of their high load capacity. Sleeve bearings are made of metal, plastic, or fiber-reinforced composite sleeves. This Sleeve Bearing is placed inside the pump assembly to provide smooth operation. Attributes: • Provides high radial and static load capacity in limited spaces. • Provided with a split gap of 1.02mm. • Possesses high shock load resistance, minimizes vibration (and therefore noise) Applications: A Split Sleeve Bearing is used in the pump to provide smooth operation for the idler gear, generally used to reduce the friction between the moving parts.
