331-1921: 10mm Thick Side Wear Plate

A Side Wear Plate protects the bucket from the abrasive and high-stress conditions it encounters during operation. Instead of needing to replace the entire bucket or larger, more expensive sections, the wear plate can be replaced when they wear out. The wear plate is situated at both sides of the bucket and is normally made of a hard, abrasion-resistant material like hardened steel. Attributes: • Withstands the vibrations and forces that are generated during operation • Hardened to Rockwell C scale hardness of 35HRC to resist deformation Applications: A Side Wear Plate is used on the sides of general-purpose and heavy-duty buckets to absorb and dissipate the wear and impact pressures that the bucket encounters while in use.
