The raised-face flanged elbow adapter is a type of elbow adapter that has a flange on one or both ends. The flange is a flat, circular piece of material with holes around the circumference that allows it to be bolted to another flanged component in the piping or tubing system. The flanged elbow adapter is used to connect two pipes or tubes at an angle while providing a secure and leak-proof connection.
