The top piston ring is the uppermost ring on the piston and is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber and often made from high-strength materials and designed to endure pressure and temperature changes, and controls the oil flow around the piston. Attributes: • Chromium ceramic coating is applied on the surfaces of the piston ring to increase wear resistance. • Specifically made to assure correct fit by matching the piston and cylinder dimensions. • Provided with a 0.525mm ring gap to ensure proper sealing and prevent ring breakage due to thermal expansion.
