357-6992: 2.5mm Thick Shim Pack

A Shim Pack is a set of individual shims used in the Frame. It typically consists of 20 individual flat, circular shims that are stacked together and inserted between surfaces to achieve the desired clearance or preload in the assembly. It is made of durable steel which can withstand the loads and stresses that are exerted during the operation. Attributes: • Distribute loads evenly between mating surfaces, avoiding localized stress concentrations • Ensure proper positioning and reduce vibration or noise Applications: The Shim is used in the part of the Articulating Hitch placed between the Lower Pin and Lower Cap in the Front Frame to achieve the desired fit and stacked to achieve the required thickness or alignment.
