A Prelubrication Pump is used in an internal combustion engine to ensure proper lubrication before starting the engine. It is integrated with the engine's lubrication unit and operates independently from the main engine oil pump. When the Pump is activated it draws oil from the oil sump and pressurizes it to deliver a precise amount of lubricant.
