Product Description
The Piston Body is a cylindrical or conical metal structure that moves up and down inside the engine's cylinder. The Piston Body is to convert the pressure generated by the combustion of the fuel-air mixture into mechanical energy, which drives the engine's crankshaft. A hardened rod that connects the piston to the connecting rod. It allows the piston to pivot as it moves up and down, transmitting the combustion forces to the crankshaft. Attributes: • Withstands high temperatures and pressures during combustion • Reduces friction and wear against the cylinder walls • Enhances sealing minimizes blow-by and gas leakage, leading to improved combustion efficiency and reduced energy losses Applications: The Piston Body is used in the assembly of the Piston and Connecting Rod to reduce piston slap and mechanical noise, leading to quieter engine operation, and protecting the piston crown from excessive wear and thermal stress.
