364-4394: Differential Pressure Cap

A Differential Pressure Cap is used to prevent overpressure in the hydraulic system. It is located on the top of the hydraulic reservoir or transmission. It has a spring-loaded valve that opens when the pressure in the hydraulic system exceeds a predetermined level. This allows excess fluid to escape from the system and prevents damage to components. Attributes: • Prevent the filter from collapsing by maintaining a positive pressure • Sensing the pressure difference between the two sides of a filter Applications: A Differential Pressure Cap is used to protect the filter from damage caused by excessive pressure.
