369-7658: Air Conditioning Evaporator Coil

Description: An evaporator coil is a key component in the air conditioning system of a vehicle. It is responsible for cooling the air that is blown into the vehicle's interior by the air conditioning system. It consists of a series of metal tubes, made of aluminum that are coiled back and forth to form a large surface area. The coils are filled with refrigerant, a special fluid with a very low boiling point. As the refrigerant flows through the evaporator coil, it absorbs heat from the warm air that is blown over it by the vehicle's blower motor. This cools the air, which is then blown into the passenger compartment.
