A Latch Support Plate helps to support the latch assembly at the exterior of the cabin to secure the door window. It is a steel plate that is attached to the latch assembly which helps to mount the latch and retains the fasteners. This plate ensures that the striker securely engages with the window latch when the glass window is opened.
