Descriptions: The Serpentine Belt is also called an accessory Belt, fan Belt, and Drive Belt. The belt is long and snakes through several pulleys. It allows the Belt to pass over more than three pulleys with a large enough wrap angle to avoid slipping, idler pulleys that press against the back of the belt are included, forcing the belt into a serpentine shape. Attributes: • Effective Length of the Belt will be 1505 ± 6mm. • Flexible materials such as rubber or synthetic polymers, which allow them to bend and wrap. • Can withstand wear and tear resistance. • Provide 12 ribs for a better grip and reduce slippage. Applications: The Serpentine Belt is used in the Pulley of the Fan Drive in the Engine, mostly used in Cat 336E and 568 Excavators, and 336E Base Machines.
