Description: A Top Cover Heat Shield is used in the Cylinder Head to protect components from excessive heat. It is typically a flat plate with holes, designed to be mounted on the Cylinder Head to protect the valve cover assembly from the high temperature of the forward exhausting turbocharger. Attributes: • Designed to reflect heat away from the components to be protected. • High strength and wear resistance. • Provided with 4 mounting holes to fit the shield with the cylinder head using fasteners of size 3/8" • Withstands heat and vibrations generated by the engine.
