Description:Cat dual Hall effect sensors have 2 Hall elements. Elements are spaced to create waveforms that are 90° (electrical degrees) apart. The target gear has to be designed to fit the Hall cell spacing or the Hall cell spacing has to be designed to fit the target gear tooth spacing. This allows direction detection. Signal A leads Signal B or vice-versa.Attributes:• Two Hall elements• Two outputs, 4 wires (power, return, signal A, signal B)• Phase shift between two output signals provides direction• Available in fixed nose lengths onlyApplications:• Used where zero speed or near-zero speed detection is required.• Cat assemblies are application specific.
