Product Description
A Transducer Speed Sensor is designed to monitor and provide accurate speed information about the engine's crankshaft rotation. It operates based on the principle of magnetic induction. It comprises a reluctor wheel, which is mounted on the engine's crankshaft, and a stationary magnetic coil sensor positioned close to the reluctor wheel. As the reluctor wheel rotates with the crankshaft, the variation in the magnetic field induces a voltage in the magnetic coil, generating an electrical signal. The frequency of this signal is directly proportional to the engine's crankshaft speed. Attributes: • Designed to optimize the engine performance and fuel efficiency • Withstand overload, safeguarding against excessive forces and preventing damage Applications: The Transducer Speed Sensor used in the engine control unit and accurately measuring crankshaft speed, enables efficient engine management, contributing to improved fuel efficiency, emissions control, and overall vehicle performance.
