398-6987: Brake Accumulator

A Brake Accumulator is designed to store and deliver pressurized fluid for rapid brake actuation. It consists of a cylindrical housing with an internal piston separating the housing into two chambers, the fluid chamber and the gas chamber. The fluid chamber contains hydraulic fluid, while the gas chamber is filled with dry nitrogen. Attributes: • Provided with a maximum oil capacity of 3.8 Liter and maximum gas capacity of 3.9 Liter • Withstands maximum operating pressure up to 25000 kPa Applications: A Brake Accumulator is used to compensate for any delay or lag that may occur between the operator's input and the actual application of the Brakes.
