The number of pistons can vary, typically ranging from three to nine or more, depending on the motor's size and application. Attributes: • Provides high torque output. • Provides high efficiency with minimal energy losses. Applications: A Radial Piston Motor is used in the powertrain for high-output torque and is mainly used in Cat 270, 272D, and 272D3 Skid Steers.
