A Precooler Core is used to cool the compressed air before it enters the Engine's intake manifold. It consists of a series of Fins designed to maximize the surface area for heat exchange. The Precooler Core works by passing the compressed air through a series of Fins, and this cooling process helps to reduce the temperature of the compressed air, increasing its density and allowing for more oxygen to be packed into the combustion chamber.
