436-0825: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve

Description: The Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve works by opening and closing a passage between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold in the engine arrangements. When the valve is open, a portion of the exhaust gas is redirected back into the intake manifold, where it mixes with the incoming air/fuel mixture. Attributes: • Reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) • Recirculates a portion of the engine's exhaust gas back into the combustion chamber • Reduces the amount of oxygen available for combustion Applications: The Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve allows a precise quantity of exhaust gas to re-enter the intake system, effectively changing the chemical makeup of the air entering the engine.
