436-0833: Four Cylinder Head

Description: The Cylinder Head mounts on the cylinder block or engine housing. Together with the piston and cylinder, it forms a part of the combustion chamber. Underneath the cylinder head lies the cylinder head gasket. The gasket seals the head to the cylinder block, preventing leaks. Attributes: • Provides lubrication in internal combustion engines to ensure the leakages and the proper combustion in the IC engine cylinder. Applications: The Cylinder Head is used to control airflow in and out of the cylinders and fuel deployment, mostly used in Cat 236D, 242D, 246D, 257D, 259D, 262D, 277D, 279D, 287D, and 289D Skid Steers, 259D, 287D, 308E and 908M 308, 308.5, 308E, 309 and 310 Excavators, 308E Scraper, 906M, 907M and 908M Wheel Loader, AP300, AP300F, AP355, and AP355F Paving Equipment.
