Description: A Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Tank Level Sensor is an electronic device that measures the level of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in a tank. It consists of a float that is attached to a potentiometer or other type of variable resistor. As the level of Diesel Exhaust Fluid in the tank changes, the float moves up or down, causing the resistance of the potentiometer to change. This change in resistance is then converted into a voltage signal that is sent to the engine control module (ECM). Attributes: • Operates within a voltage range of 9 V to 32 V. • Provided with an operating temperature range between -11 °C and +85 °C for level sensing. Applications: A Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Tank Level Sensor is used to measure the level of diesel fluid in a tank, mostly used in Cat M313D and M315D Excavator, M315D OEM Application.
