Descriptions: The V-Belts are Belts with a trapezoidal cross-section. Like other types of belts, they are used to transmit power or torque from the driving component to the driving component. The V-Belt helps to transmit force out from the engine straight to the ancillary elements. Together these devices offer a high-speed power transmission solution that is resistant to slipping and misalignment. The V-Belt Pulleys (also called vee belt sheaves) are devices that transmit power between axles by the use of a V-Belt, a mechanical linkage with a trapezoidal cross-section. Attributes: • Length of the Belt will be 687mm. • Materials used are Rubber Coated Polyamide Fabric, Polyester Cord, PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) Fiber Reinforced EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) Rubber will increase the strength of the Belt. • Helps to maximize the efficiency of the machine. • Can withstand wear and tear resistance. Applications: The V-belt is used to drive the Air Inlet Control connected to the Pulley and the Pump in the Engine Arrangement, mostly used in Cat CB22B, CB24B, CB32B, CB34B, CB36B, CC24B, and CC34B Compactors.
