Description: An Exhaust Heat Shield is used in the Turbocharger to protect the surrounding components from excessive heat. It is designed with slots and contains a bent plate and weld-nuts that are welded to be mounted on the exhaust assembly to protect the components from the high temperature of the exhaust manifold, preventing them from overheating and potentially causing damage or failure. Attributes: • High strength and highly resistant to wear and corrosion. • Provided with 5 weld nuts to fit the fasteners of size 5/16" • Withstands high temperatures and vibrations generated by the engine. • Designed to reflect heat away from the components to be protected in the exhaust assembly. Applications: An Exhaust Heat Shield is used to protect the surrounding components of the exhaust manifold from the high heat, mostly used in CAT G3516B and G3520B Engine (Piston).
