467-8214: Turbocharger Heat Shield

Description: A Turbocharger Heat Shield is used in the Engine to protect the surrounding components from excessive heat. It contains a thermal insulation shield, springs, brackets, and hooks that are designed to be mounted on the Turbocharger assembly to protect the components from the high temperatures generated by the turbocharger, preventing the nearby components from overheating and potentially causing damage or failure. Attributes: • High strength and highly resistant to wear and corrosion. • Provided with thermal insulation with a maximum conductivity of 0.2 W/m.K at 810.93 K, which resists the heat flow. • Provided insulation with inner stainless steel foil of 0.076mm thick, and outer Teflon cloth of 0.385mm thick to reduce the heat conductivity of the shield assembly. • Provided hooks with springs attached are welded to prevent the springs from slipping out. Applications: A Turbocharger Heat Shield is used to prevent heat from radiating outwards and damaging nearby components of the Turbocharger, mostly used in CAT C32 Engine (Piston), D11, and D11T Track Type Tractor.
